The day is unpredictable, but choosing where I focus is my power. Saw this beautiful reminder on my walk this morning. No more being swept away—I'm firm, capable, and managing my own sunshine. Our wonderful Halloween night ended in a sudden, quiet heartbreak. 💔![]()
After all the excitement, my son gave his pet lizard, Vulcan, his nightly "goodnight, love you." The next morning, we found Vulcan had passed away.![]()
We held a small, tearful funeral yesterday, and his sweet trick-or-treating friend even attended to say goodbye. 🕯️![]()
He found one little piece of comfort in the timing: passing away on Samhain, he believes someone he loves took Vulcan to the otherside. 🥺![]()
Watching him navigate this first big loss is the hardest part. If you have any kind words or gentle wisdom to share with him, I would love to pass them on. 👇![]()
