Here you will find positivity and tips on how to do it in your life.
I started my day by cleaning up someone else's puke. (Well in the big scheme of things this job is in the fine print of momhood.) Then discovered a concoction cup of sugar and my coffee creamer. Throw in some yelling between siblings, items of mine being missing, and a dash of sparkling attitude. Well all in all it seems like it is meant to be a bad day. BUT. Keeping in mind words from Jack Sparrow I shall perceive my day how I want. What can I control? What can I not control. I am going to focus on the things I can. My day is what I make it. Even if everyone wants to reside in a place of negativity or chaos I can choose not to. I can spend some time decorating, carve out time for a chapter of my book, crazy dance to my favourite song between arguments, and remind myself I can curl up at the end of day and watch Batman. Moved, settling in, and found the public library. Life is good. Now to finish setting up and finding a place for everything. Now just an idea... what if the ferengi in this sense could represent the past. It comes back to you with this great moment of remembrance but is it truly a gift? I like to remind myself that I may be gripped by reverent gratitude (by this "gift" from the past) BUT I don't live there anymore. And psst... neither do you! ![]()
